The Haxey Gate Golf Course, is a private parkland golf course.
Our par 70 course has 9 greens and 18 tees and is 6053 yards in length.
The course boasts excellent greens and is well maintained.
The course is on normal greens all year round and very rarely closes.
The course is set in an idyllic and peaceful location next to the River Idle. Adjacent to the course is the pub which serves food from 12 everyday.
Golfers can take advantage of special offers including 10% off main meals or 4 pints for £10.

We are fortunate that the pub sits beside one of the most beautiful spots on the River Idle.
With over a mile of riverfront there is excellent fishing to be had on the riverbank.
It is not unknown to land fish in excess of 20lbs.
Fishing permits can be bought from the pub and cover a days fishing.

Every January, the parish of Haxey takes part in the Haxey Hood, an ancient tradition since the 14th century. It is the oldest tradition in England and therefore crowds gather from far and wide to join in this famous tradition.
